University
Yes! My life has changed, it is constantly changing.
I am trying my best to embrace and keep up with the changes and the shift in
schedules and the seeming beautiful chaos that is now my everyday existence.
After much procrastination and much soul searching and nags and encouragement
and moments of giving up- attending university became the option and final
decision if I was ever to make a move, ever to find some direction and higher
purpose for my life.
It is an ongoing
event, knowledge, thoughts, experiences, changing views, opinions, friendships,
life lessons, transportation issues, bargaining for time off work, lack of
sleep, missing meals, working on the Sabbath, missing family functions,
leisure….amm what’s that anymore, monster
energy drink, falling asleep on the desk, waking up on the floor, exemption
forms, reading till you can taste the words, blank paper, shading, GPAs,
receipts, finance, finding God in the classroom, the universal mind, Joel
Osteen, faith, tremendous support and assistance, carpool, no ¾ pants even
though we live in the tropics, mathematics – my constant enemy, public
speaking, strained relationships, presentations, children, learning, beyond
excellence.
Indeed this
decision, this ongoing impact, rippling through every aspect of my otherwise
routine life, now reclaiming and reshaping me. My mind will never be the same.
I now have wider vision and personal views. It is quite overwhelming and
refreshing.
